Italy (Rome)

A collection of photographs taken during various trips to Italy. Rome is without doubt one the most beautiful cities that I have visited. We stayed in a hotel at the top of the Spanish steps which was a great location to simply walk out of the door and into the heart of the city. 4 or 5 days will give you enough time to visit all of the attractions and sit and have a coffee watching the world go by!

Rome’s Fiumicino airport is 19 miles outside of the city. A train station is located inside and you can travel straight to Station Termini near the center of town. The top attractions that we visited are The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican Museums, Galleria Borghese, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, St Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel and Vastel Sant’Angelo.
