Why I love being a Travel Consultant
I have been very fortunate to have travelled extensively throughout my life. Some of the places are once in a lifetime destinations others I have gone back to time and again.
I love the thrill I get from travelling wether it’s to new places, exploring the unknown or going back to visit “old friends” My travels have given me the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to create wonderful trips for my clients so they can make their own memories.
I want to make sure my clients holidays go without a hitch so they can sit back, relax and enjoy.
The more information I can gather the better the experience for them. Don’t be afraid to ask, almost anything is possible!

Why I love being a Travel Consultant
If someone said “what’s your favourite pastime” it would have to be “discovering new places around the world”. I love the freedom and the sense of adventure that travelling offers us all. I have travelled all over the world including China, Thailand, Australia, South America, Cambodia, South Africa to name but a few places.
It’s not just the “being” on holiday. I immerse myself in the whole experience of researching, creating itineraries and fine-tuning all the details. Creating a special holiday, whether it’s for me or someone else, is such an exciting journey!
I have a background in business travel where I ensured executives arrived at the right time for international meetings looking after tight schedules and fine details. There was no time for sight-seeing then, but now I am delighted to help my clients book the most amazing trips to relax, unwind or put together exciting itineraries to explore their destinations.
My Top 5 Places In The World
- Africa – stargazing in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, white water rafting on the Zambezi, spotting the elusive leopard cub curled up in a tree. Sights and experiences I will never forget
- Tokyo – A vibrant metropolis, individuals with a unique sense of style, Wagyu beef, plastic food, vending machines on every corner, love hotels, the list goes on.
- Italy – What isn’t there to love, from the architecture, the art, the scenery and of course the food
- America – Whale watching in Cape Cod, the 9/11memorial in NY, the Pacific Coast Highway, The Grand Canyon and of course Disney for the kids. Just a tiny selection of the many things to see and do.
- Mauritius – a beautiful island, white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, forests and waterfalls, gardens and mountains, fond memories and a special place in my heart.
My Top 3 Travel Tips
- Explore your destination on foot. You get to see so much and really get a sense of the place you are visiting.
- Put your camera away, enjoy the moment. Sometimes we end up missing something amazing trying to get a shot of nothing special.
- Check the safe, wardrobe & draws when leaving even if you only stayed a night. There is nothing worse than realising you have left your valuables behind!
