OMAN
In February this year we travelled to Oman staying on the Musandam Peninsular at the remote coastal resort Six Senses Zighy Bay. You have the option of paragliding into the resort – please see video below – an amazing experience – and yes it really is me! Zighy Bay lived up to my expectations in all respects – having sent quite a few clients there I really wanted to experience the property for myself and it truly was a unique destination. The accommodation is very different – we had our own little village house with private pool and were only steps away from the fabulous beach. Many dining options were on offer but the experience not to be missed was dining at Sense on the Edge, 293 metres above sea level. The food, service and views were just amazing. Also so many things to do there, they have a very active programme from walking and cycling in the mountains, dhow cruises, water sports, to name but a few – and of course the Six Senses Spa experience is always a treat!
